Musi Supa - The Fun of Desk: a game about language.
- Feel like a caveman with this guessing game about describing things by only using the 80 words in the board and some rules to change them. Two modes: (A) Speak the words (B) Use signs!
- No previous knowledge required, no need to learn anything. Just speak! Example: This to be a room, to move at water, to move many people. It is... a ! Another one: You to able to move your body because of these things of color flame. It is... !
- Varying difficulty: Family casual party game or nerdy super hard language challenge.

Musi Supa - The Fun of Desk is a board game project I worked on for quite some time. Describing things using the limited set of words on the board and a few rules for bending their meanings is a lot of fun. The game is inspired by Toki Pona, where you also describe things by combining simple words. But it is not a Toki Pona game and does not use any Toki Pona. You just play it. What the game tries to preserve is the fun part: breaking a concept into simpler ideas, assembling those ideas creatively, and letting the other team solve the small riddle you just made.
I wrote more about the project in this post.
